Medix FTP Service (the "Service") is designed to provide you with an easy way to transfer files relevant to the management of your case to Medix Medical Services Europe Limited ("Medix", "we" and "us").

 

The following terms and conditions together with the Medix Information Security Policy (which may be found at http://medix- europe.com/Information_Security_Policy.aspx) (together, the "Terms of Service"), form the agreement between you and us in relation to your use of the Service. You should read the Terms of Service carefully before agreeing to them. You acknowledge and agree that by clicking on the "Upload" button, you are indicating that you accept the Terms of Services and agree to be bound by them.

 

Using the Service

 

In order to use the Service, you will be required to log in by submitting your member number which was provided to you by the Medix staff, your name and e-mail address. Once you have logged in, you will be able to upload files to the Service. We will download your files to our system and no copy will be retained on the server used to provide the Service. For detailed upload instructions, please click here.

 

Protection of your information

 

We take the safeguarding of your information very seriously. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure of your information we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic and administrative procedures to safeguard and secure the files you upload to the Service. However, no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic data storage is 100% secure and while we have put in place appropriate protections, we cannot guarantee the security of information you upload to the Service.

 

Quality and availability of the Service

 

While we make reasonable efforts to provide the Service, it is provided "as is" with no representation, guarantee or warranty of any kind as to its availability, functionality, that it will meet your requirements or that it will be free of errors or viruses.

 

We will not be responsible for any damage to your computer system or the computer system of any third party resulting from your use of the Services where such damage is caused by circumstances which are beyond our reasonable control.

Assessing the current status, risk factors and preparing employees for an assignment abroad are both the responsibility of a caring and accountable employer but also helps to reduce costs in the short and long run as well as avoid situations which can have a negative impact on the business.
The following services represent an end to end approach to empower employees and provide them with the required tools to manage their health in a new territory while providing valuable insights to the employer.

 

Pre-Assignment Healthcare Screening

 Many health-related conditions and illnesses may be pre-existing or can be pre-detected and in some cases prevented. Ensuring proper screening and transparency of the current health status of the employee are crucial in order to avoid future health complications, medical evacuations and unnecessary expenses. In addition, the assessment will also provide insights and later guidance in order to properly manage any current chronic condition.

The Medix Pre-Assignment Healthcare Screening protocol includes five simple steps that are both accessible and provide actionable information to the employee, his/her dependents and employer alike:

  1. Review of medical history
  2. Digital Health Risk Assessment to review various health factors and status
  3. Video-conference or phone intake with a Medix Doctor
  4. Referral to relevant screening and diagnostic tests
  5. Summary report to both the employee and the employer

 

Orientation

The Medix Orientation protocol takes into account the individual’s health status and provides detailed information regarding the relevant providers and medical centres in their territory.
This includes:

  1. Digital copy of country healthcare profile with relevant providers and contact information
  2. Review of medical history or report of Pre-Assignment Healthcare Screening
  3. Orientation call/video-conference with a Medix medical staff Doctor or Nurse


Cancer Care

The Medix Global Cancer Care Program supports employees suffering from an oncological condition to navigate and make optimal medical decisions throughout their medical journey. A dedicated Oncological Nurse and Doctor will be appointed to each patient.

The service includes:

  1. Appointment of a dedicated medical team and initial intake (over phone or video-conference)
  2. Complete re-evaluation of the medical condition and diagnosis
  3. Reassessment of the recommended treatment course using personalized advice from the world’s leading specialists in the relevant sub-specialty. If one was not yet recommended, Medix will advise and suggest an optimal treatment protocol
  4. Throughout the process, Medix ensures optimal treatment planning, coordination, implementation and ongoing supervision of the best possible medical care anywhere in the world
  5. Emotional support and counselling throughout the service period
  6. Dietary support to avoid complications and optimally manage side effects

 

 

Each service period is of a minimum six months
